I've lived the consequences of medical systems that too often overlook women's health.

Birth control, which I believe is one of the greatest inventions for women's independence, simply wasn't right for me. Without proper awareness and education about its risks and side effects, it almost cost me my life at 15.

That's an experience you never forget, and I knew I didn't want anyone else to go through that either.

Grateful for a second chance, I've dedicated my life since then to science, innovation, and the next generation of women's healthcare.
